Description: 2020 has not been the greatest year, but its not gonna stop us from doing what we can to stay healthy and busy. On today’s little trip we decided to continue our exploration of our lovely state of New Jersey. We did some googling and learned that High Point State Park was the highest point in the state, and included a nice long hiking trail that lead up to the top. Once we got to the park we noticed it wasn’t super crowded which was nice, given the pandemic going around. We #MASKEDUP and started our hike which was about an hour long and not very difficult. The closer you get to the top it does become gradually steeper but its manageable. The monument itself is a nice little obelisk with some really breathtaking views surrounding it. It wasn’t anything crazy exciting but definitely a worthy place to visit, take in some fresh air, and cool views.
